For nearly 12 years, Gail Allen, the woman behind The Cat’s Cradle, a no-kill animal rescue shelter outside Navasota (Texas), has been taking care of healthy cats and kittens available for adoption. Recently Gail was stricken with cancer and her finances and energy level have suffered greatly.

The Cat’s Cradle cat shelter is a safe, cozy adoption center for the rescued homeless cats and kittens. All of the happy felines live in spacious open rooms in three cat houses. The main house also has a large screened-in sun porch pictured above.
